My name is Karyn Kokeny and my Mom is Mary Kokeny, your Berkshire Glens Neighborhood Sponsor.

I am training to run a full 26.2 mile marathon to raise money for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) and help find a cure for blood cancers. This will be my 2nd marathon on behalf of LLS and I am asking that you consider making a donation to this worthy cause. More information about how the money is used may be found at www.lls.org. Please visit my fundraising website provided to make a secure and tax deductible donation.

    Thank you,
    Karyn

P.S. If you prefer to write a check, feel free to call me at (248) 366-4287 or email me for my address.

    Dear fellow neighbors,

My parents and I (and now my husband) have lived here in the Berkshires for six years- we have two houses on Wedgewood. I would not normally consider sending a mass email out to all of our neighbors but the State of Michigan House, Senate and the Governor are contemplating legislation that will dismantle Michigan's current auto no fault system which provides lifetime medical benefits to those catastrophically injured in a car accident.

Ten years ago I was paralyzed in a car accident and without Michigan's Auto No Fault coverage I shutter to think what my life would be like or what would have happened to my family.

I am asking you to please read the testimony that I read in front of the House Insurance Committee last Tuesday and to write/call/email your legislators and tell them to vote NO on HB 4936!!! I've also attached a sample letter that you can sign, address and email/fax/send

No one ever expects to be the 1% but what if you were? I am.

    with gratitude,
    Erica Nader Coulston
